Bodog Unveils the New Female Pro to Join the Team
Finally, after months of searching for the fresh face for Team Bodog, the new female poker pro to join the ranks of Bodog veteran Evelyn Ng has been unveiled. With her quick wit, discipline, and motivation, Bodog believes that Amanda Musumeci can go the distance. By turning a small bankroll into bigger winnings, the new Bodog Team member has already proven that anyone can win big even by starting small. Bodog has been watching Musumeci, also known as Bodog Mander, from her earlier days when she would join small limit sit-n-go tournaments up to the time when she would take home bigger winnings in multi-player tables. Now, the time has come for Bodog Mander to shine, as the hunt for the female poker pro has come to its conclusion, after a series of deliberation.
The decision wasn’t easy, with hundreds of applications to consider after Bodog announced the social media search through Facebook and Twitter. But in the end, Bodog seems satisfied with their choice, who has been an MTT player at Bodog for quite some time. She was able to collect more than $175,000 in winnings as a regular MTT player, so it comes as no surprise how Bodog has made their final decision.
Joining the Bodog Team
Right where she truly belongs, Amanda Musumeci has been playing poker online at Bodog.com, which helped develop her skills much to her delight. She learned about the search when John Westra, a friend and Bodog regular, sent her a link for a Facebook Fan Page of Bodog.com. She sent in her applications, and now that Bodog has made its decision, it proved to be the wisest move she ever made on her career. On joining the Bodog Team, Amanda Musumeci was quoted saying that “it was the opportunity of a lifetime.” After spending most of her online poker plays at Bodog.com, it seems to be a fitting choice. She also said that Bodog definitely knows how to support their players, and she’s obviously ecstatic about the announcement that unveiled her as the all new female poker pro to represent the team.
Beautiful and dangerous
Born on the 4th of October 1984, the 25-year old player from Philadelphia is known for her fearlessness, discipline, and aggressive moves, which account for her success in online poker. From Philadelphia, Musumeci moved to Kutztown and studied at Kutztown University to complete her degree where she majored in Speech/Mass Communications and minored in Political Science and Public Relations. She paid for her studies with help from playing poker, which later developed into a skill and passion. A good friend led her to The Aussie Millions Poker Championship. From there, she was able to meet Anna Wroblewski, a known poker pro who helped train her and get her started in the professional poker circuit. From then on, she’s been living in Las Vegas and is now playing for the Bodog Team.
